Hirams Highway Public Consultation

The Highways Department has recently employed a consultant, Meinhardt Infrastructure and Environment Limited, to undertake an investigation study on the improvement of Hiram's Highway between Marina Cove and Sai Kung Town. The study will involve the extensive public engagement of stakeholders, initially through public forums, the first of which will be held on Sat 23 Februrary 2008 at the Sai Kung Jockey Club Town Hall from 2:30-5:30pm. 

 

Members of the public and representatives of stakeholders will be invited to attend and any views and opinions concerning the improvement of the road will be welcomed.

The Friends of Sai Kung is in discussion with the consultants to consider further consultations for SK residents as well as those of surrounding villages.  More information will be available shortly.
