...a woman for whom feedback is key
Alice Wong wings her way around the world in a combination of short and long hauls as a full time Inflight Services Manager with Cathay and still enjoys the travelling after 25 years.
Days in Sai Kung are not idle, however, as she spends her time making sure that customers receive the best quality and service possible at Scarecrow. Soon after Alice and her husband Louis opened the restaurant in 2005, she realized that good service requires dedicated care and attention, whether in the air or on the ground. People are much more liable to express their needs and concerns in the air, she says, so she tries to impress upon her customers how important feedback is to her.
Likes about SK: The people are great and air quality good. If she’s away too long she soon gets the urge to come back to SK.
Dislikes about SK: Weekend traffic when weekend drivers come to “practice their skills”.
