Michael Lin
KGV Year 10 student and Sai Kung resident, Michael Lin, shares the starring role in Peter Pan with classmate Ryutaro Yanagita. This popular musical opened on 1 June at HKAPA.
A performer since he was five years old, Michael has worked as a singer, dancer and actor in a number of local and international companies. You might have seen him playing the Artful Dodger in the musical Oliver! in 2004. This isn’t his first time in the role of Peter Pan – he’s also played this ageless boy in Singapore and Manila.
We can’t figure out how he does all this, plus rugby, in-line skating and drumming in his own band. He was also a member of “Team Explore” (delivering Explore to houses in Tai Mong Tsai area) until rehearsals and travel for the show made it too difficult to keep up.
You can see Michael fly over the HKAPA stage until 24 June.
