Sai Kung Sketches
Nida Salinas Chu
...a woman whose customers come first
To Nida Salinas Chu, after 23 years in Hong Kong, the Philippines is no longer “home”.
Two years ago she hung up her corporate garb to work with husband Thomas, learning the restaurant business from the ground up. Her “no business at home” rule might just be the secret to their even closer relationship after 18 years of marriage.
Her personality is perfect for managing Cheers – she’s willing to go the extra mile with customers whether it’s staying late or cooking a meal that’s not on the menu.
Likes about Sai Kung: it’s like being in a small town – friendly people and everyone knows each other.
Dislikes about Sai Kung: too far away from the shopping malls!
